        Ridgecrest Intermediate School provides educational classes to students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies, language arts, reading, technology and art. The school has a library media center that provides access to electronic resources, including magazines, world encyclopedias, databases and newspapers. Ridgecrest Intermediate School has a parent-teacher-student association that conducts regular meetings and handles the planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that offers a range of food items. It is a part of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, which provides educational services to more than 11,900 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Ridgecrest Intermediate School is located in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.
