        SpaceDev creates and sells space products and solutions to government and commercial enterprises. Its products and solutions include the design, manufacture, marketing and operation of sophisticated micro and nano satellites, hybrid rocket-based orbital maneuvering and orbital transfer vehicles, as well as safe sub-orbital and orbital hybrid rocket-based propulsion systems. The company has been awarded contracts from NASA, National Reconnaissance Office, Boeing, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Space Authority, Air Force Research Lab and several commercial customers. SpaceDev is developing commercial hybrid rocket motors and small high-performance space vehicles and subsystems. It has a 25,000-square-foot facility in Poway, Calif., that includes a small spacecraft assembly and test facility with a 1,800-square-foot class 100,000 clean room, avionics development lab, machine shop, mechanical assembly lab and mission operations center. Headquartered in Poway, Calif., it is traded on the Over The Count Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol SPDV.
