Overall
wonderful place

I think the place is great. I always have been an animal lover and the strays seem to know where to find me. like radar. I have taken a couple cats there and I recieved a letter that they were adopted out. and I thought that was nice. when I moved I swore I would not feed anymore strays. as they were using my flower beds as there litter box. WELL.. here I go again.. feeling sorry for them. and now I have 2 female strays whom have recently had kittens. one mom stray is tame. very nice w/the most beautiful kittens. fluffy cute. the other mom is not tame. w/4 babies not so cute. I need help. and very over ran with cats. soon the will be spitting out more. so I'm hoping I can have the help from OHSS. I just really like they r not unithinized. all though mamma calico most likely will have to be. she will eat out of your hand but very skitterish. please help.... I'm not the cat lady......lol

Overall
CJ...in my heart forever.

In Bend, Oregon, 2003, I saw a dog on TV and fell in love. Little did I know that 7 1/2 years later my heart would be broken with her death. I adopted CJ in Bend and a year later moved to Portland, Oregon. She came with me. With her expensive health problems and all, I loved her to pieces. I miss her but in time will find another dog at the Humane Society, here in Portland. She can never be duplicated only replaced. I only have high praise for the care of animals the Humane Socities of Oregon give.
