General Info

The professional designers of Ida York Interior Design are technical artists, researchers and collaborators who push the boundaries of design. We custom design each space for our clients’ needs, safety, and comfort. We are problem solvers improving lives through our work. Though we are located in Portland, Oregon, our firm has designed and managed projects in California, Florida, Oregon and New York since 2009. We have varying levels of design packages ranging from consultations to project management. We work with architects, engineers, contractors, and manufactures that we know and trust. We find that when we are included from the beginning of the process, the best design emerges. Ida York Principal Designer Ida is the principal designer with a BFA from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, California in Interior Architecture and Design. She has been designing interiors since 2005. In addition to Mrs. York’s interior design, she is also a lighting fixture designer of high-end LED fixtures for companies worldwide. Ida has been featured in magazines and seminars. Anne Lien Associate Designer Anne Lien received dual degrees in Interior Design and Applied Visual Arts from Oregon State University in 2011. Lien joined IYID in 2012. She enjoys developing designs, hand sketching and rendering. Aside from designing and making art, Lien enjoys volunteering at local events, hiking, and joining friends for happy hour.
