Jackson Roosevelt Elementary

I am so glad that summer is here. I am a proud Dad of 2 boys and 1 girl that has suffered from all kinds of mistreatment at the hands of the staff from the Principal, teachers and even the cafeteria workers. There was a time that this school was a school with a great reputation, higher learning, safe for your kids, teachers that gave a damn and treated all kids as if they were their own. The last 2 years have been hell for my family. The bullying at this school is out of control. When I teach my sons to never back down and never let anyone strike you and for the school who cannot protect them and tells them to do nothing but for the kids who bully its okay for them to hurt my kids. When a teacher loses her cool and takes it out on the students which my kids have to see and hear the verbal abuse. When the cafeteria workers are rude and treat these kids as if they are animals. I think its time for the Superintendent and the School Board of Directors take action against your faculty and have a sit down with them and discuss to them how things will be changing and now its the faculty who needs a Zero tolerance mandate. Maybe you need to also involve the local law enforcement to be more involved with your schools and fight the bullying that takes place in this district. Trust me, its not just me but there are hundreds of other parents that are sick of this nonsense and our children deserve better. I have been wanting to go to the newspaper about this and go to the local news station and put the school on front street but my wife and family told me not now but give the district a chance to make things right well here is your last chance and if things do not improve for the coming school year then myself and others will take action by going to the local newspaper and all of us putting down our horrible experiences that are kids have endured at Jackson Roosevelt.
