After completing orthodontic residency in 2013, Dr. Solem worked for one year as a craniofacial orthodontist at Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan. At this center, he treated children with rare diseases and developmental anomalies, including cleft lip and palate. This work was done in close collaboration with other medical disciplines (plastic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, speech pathology, and audiology) to provide complex orthodontic treatment to all age-ranges of children. He currently serves on the pediatric craniofacial team at UC Davis.

We offer a wide spectrum of braces including metal, ceramic and clear braces with Invisalign. We offer a variety of colors and customizations for every individual. We are also an ELITE PROVIDER OF INVISALIGN.
Braces
To help our patients with minor emergencies with their braces, we have provided this video to help you temporarily repair them. If a wire is poking the inside of the mouth, broken, or protruding, this video should help you fix the problem until you can been seen in our office.

General Dentistry
Dr. Eric Axelrode received his B.A. in economics from U.C. Santa Cruz. He received his DDS from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Eric completed a year of general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Portland Oregon, treating medically compromised patients. He practiced general dentistry in Oakland and San Pablo for three years prior to completing his orthodontic residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. During his residency he earned his certificate and Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Eric brings a unique approach in delivering excellent orthodontic care while understanding first hand the needs of the general dentist.
