Cabins of Pigeon Forge

I dont usually complain but if you're ever looking for a cabin in the smoky mountains near pigeon forge or Gatlinburg Tennessee then I dont recommend going through Cabins of pigeon forge. They were terrible. They use outdated pictures online. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Our cabin was falling apart. They say that they have immaculate hot tubs. This was a lie. Ours was green and had trim coming off in spots. They claim that they sanitize and clean it and check the chemical levels and log it right before we checked in. Obviously not. The ac unit was broken and thermostat said 88 inside but that's because it couldn't go higher. The maintenance man even said that we shouldn't stay that and it's completely unacceptable and that we should ask for a refund. This was after having a whole day wasted because we had to wait on the cabin maintenance and the hot tub maintenance. The deck was falling apart and the maintenance man said it was unsafe and we shouldn't use it. The views of the mountain were gone because small trees grew up in the way and I get that but change your pictures online. The views were one of the reasons it was booked. luckily my mom and dad happened to come to Gatlinburg on their vacation because they had to evacuate myrtle because of the hurricane. We were able to stay with them for the night because the office was closed by the time maintenance was done at 11pm. We could even try for a refund until maintenance showed up and tried to fix things. Finally the next morning we went in for a refund and they could only refund part of it because according to them the "owner" of the cabin still needs their money and since they couldn't rent it out last night because we were technically there we couldn't get that part back. I call bullshit. Why should that be on me because you cant provide what was paid for. Avoid at all cost. You're better off sleeping on a street bench!

I give the cabins 4 stars because of the beauty and amenities. They allowed us to check in early which was great. However, checkout of 10am is to early. We did not get enough toilet paper for a cabin that sleeps 10. Other than that, I'll be back again.
