Established in 2003, Discovery Charter School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Located in Philadelphia, it employs over 65 staff members. The school s syllabus includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, writing and reading. It also conducts classes in dance, drama, art, music, multimedia and culinary arts. Discovery Charter School operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events and programs.
