Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

Took my car in for an inspection and was told that one of my headlight covers was a little foggy and they could fix it for $25. I asked him if it would cause me to fail the inspection, and he said he didn't know. I said no thanks, I'll try & polish it up myself. He said ok. They called me up to the front and told me my car was ready to go, so I paid and left. Later when I was getting ready to take the inspection papers to the registration office I noticed they wrote that I failed the inspection for the single foggy headlight cover. If they would have told me that initially i would have done it. But they want you to pay first before you get into your car and find the papers in your passenger seat saying it's failed. By then it's to late, not one word was said to me about it failing. They just dumped it out front, not even it a parking spot, and said have a nice day. I would steer clear of this place, they just want your money and you out the door. I called them back and they acted like it was my fault for not taking them up on their offer when I specifically asked them if it would fail. Bogus establishment!

I see the owner has been writing reviews of his own business. They ARE pushy with upselling other services. The owner demands that, probably because he has three other Kwik Kar locations to support. Also, be very careful taking your car in for an inspection - check your car yourself first to make sure all your stuff like gascap, lights, horn are good and working and your windshield wipers are good. This place is ALL about money, and getting it every way they can.
