Henderson Ranch and Boarding Stables

I have only been at the ranch for a couple months and I love it here. Before I moved here I had my horses at my home and I was really nervous about keeping them at a stable, but this is the perfect place for us. Cindy takes wonderful care of all the horses and is so sweet and helpful. The ranch is beautiful, the hay is high quality, and the people are very nice and easy going. When I first came to visit I noticed how comfortable and well cared for the horses were. I look forward to exploring the trails and getting to know everyone better. I would highly recommend Henderson Ranch!!!!!!🐴❤️🐴

My move to the Henderson Ranch with my horse was the day of New Year’s Eve 2008, so I’ve been there 7 months now. I’m very pleased with both the facility and the location. Trail riding in the nearby Hartford Springs Reserve is quite beautiful and varied. It’s certainly large enough to ride in repeatedly while exploring different areas. I’ve been enjoying the changes that each season brings.



The Henderson Ranch itself offers many turn outs – two round pens, a very large “natural” turnout and another comparably smaller yet adequate one. There’s also an arena with barrels, and poles for arranging on the ground. My horse does not get bored with the variety of things we can do. The grooming and wash-rack area for the horses is well designed. Storage for each client’s personal stuff is small but doable. The place is always neat and tidy and the care for the horses by Cindy H. is excellent.



Cindy exhibits a calm and assured way about herself. Although she does not claim to be a trainer, she's available to provide advise or assistance if asked. Among many of her horsemanship skills, I am impressed with her expectation that the horses demonstrate good manners at meal time; and they do. The basics [either a pipe stall (24’ x 24’) or mare motel, orchard hay twice a day, and supplements (as needed @ “lunch time”] are consistently provided. Costs for other services are clearly explained and allow the clients to decide for themselves what extras they want. The Ranch appears to be able to accommodate 20 – 23 horses and Scott and Cindy Henderson have everything arranged so nothing feels cramped. I have met most of the “tenant’s” owners and they are all very friendly - clearly a bonus. Cindy's focus is to provide good care for the horses and it shows. I am looking forward to spending many, many, many more months at the Henderson Ranch.

My name is Larry Fry I was looking for a place to take my racehorse too. I tried several places before I spoke with Cindy Henderson over the phone. Immediately after speaking with Cindy Henderson on the phone I had a real good feeling about her before I even met her because she had told me that the ranch had nice feel to it. The horses were all very happy as well as there owners were all friendly and it was just kinda like a community where everyone talks and are real nice and I then explained to Cindy that I did not know anything about horses meaning that I had a trainer that took care of everything while my horse was racing at the track. I was really worried about what to do with my 3 year old Filly Missy. I later went out to meet Cindy at her ranch and she was very pleasant very knowledged and I immediately said ok I will ship my filly to you and we will see what happens. Well I did in fact send Missy to her and I cant think of anyone that could have been better suited to take care of my horse. keep in mind this horse is young and a RACEHORSE not easy to take care of. Cindy has helped us so much with her. And she (Missy) is so calm and happy now, not only did Cindy board her for us but we have made alot of friends out at the Henderson ranch and I must say exactly what I was told on the phone in our 1st conversation is exactly the way she said it would be and more. I really count my blessings I took my horse to be taken care of to the HENDERSON Ranch and Missy is doing wonderful and so are my wife and myself. Sincerely Larry & Anna Fry.

Henderson Ranch is a wonderful place to board and ride. Our horses are well cared for and we enjoy being there with them. Cindy & Scott run an excellent and friendly facility and we feel very lucky to board there!
