J & O Fabric Center

I love this store! It's unique among the fabric wholesalers in the heart of NJ. The store is clean, well-lit and organized, the fabrics are labeled with prices, and they have some beautiful natural-fiber fabrics at very affordable prices. I've found some gorgeous linens at $3 a yard and beautiful silk prints at 55 a yard, just to give a couple examples. The owner is a sweet, friendly woman who knows her fabric. It's a smaller store, but definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this fabric store. It has a great deal on their tropical fabrics. I decided to throw a luau for my brother this past spring, and didn't know where to go. Thank God I found this store on the internet. I then decided to go and check out the store for myself. I was really happy to what I bought!

The area of the store is very big and they have different kinds of options for what you are looking for especially for fabrics. Their store is also very clean and well-organized. Additionally, the person I dealt with last time was a very cool guy and very friendly and gave me a great deal. So Overall, I am very satisfied and happy with my purchase.

They have a great fabric selection. Their check-out is in a very fast process in the store. It also a first-class place to shop for sewing supplies. Excellent Store! Friendly Staff! A+, highly recommened all of NJ.

Their staff are very helpful, friendly and resourceful Alan the owner will have what you are looking for. IF he doesn't he will source it for you. His staff is friendly as well. Easy and affordable parking nearby too. They also have the best fur `fabrics available.

The collection of fabrics was absolutely outstanding in J & O Fabric Center. Almost as outstanding as the customer service! Very satisfied!

I have bought notions and fabric. It is always top quality with a great selection.

I went to the store for the first and last time. Yes, they have tons of fabrics, however I walked out due to the rude owner. Here's what happened. I asked for some guidance on what kind of fabric might be best for dining room chairs, and one of the sales girls pointed me to the wall at the far right. I found a nice fabric. The price was listed but I wanted to know what kind of fiber it was, so I asked for assistance. The salesgirl said, "Let me get the expert", and indicated that he was the owner. I asked the owner what kind of fabric I was holding and he brushed off my question in a condesending way and said "It's ALL upholstery fabric!" I asked for specifics, (i.e. is it washable, dry-clean-only, etc.) He repeated' It's UPHOLSTERY, it's dry clean only!" Then he added" If you spill something, you can clean it up." Huh??? I asked if I could buy a swatch since it was $24.98 per yard. He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "No. You can't have a swatch. This will probably be gone tommorrow. Either take it or it will be gone." Then he walked away. Before I left, I asked the salesgirl if you could buy swatches and she said "Sure. You can have a swatch of anything." "What the freak!!" I'm not going back to this place again. I understand the owner is busy but there's no reason to lie to a customer.
