C.A.R.E. For Me Children's Learning Center

My daughter has been going there since she has been 8 months old, Its like another home to her. I could not imagine sending her anywhere else. She grew a bond with her teachers and they love her like there own. The Teachers are absolutely amazing here :)

DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE! This daycare is a FIRE HAZARD!!! My child went here for 2 years, the 1st year, her jacket was hung over a spotlight by the teacher and the light burned a hole thru the hood. Now 2 weeks ago, her lunch bag was sent home with a burn hole from the inside out. I was not told of the incident, I had to ask what happened to the bag and I was not given an apology or compensation for the damaged bag. The director told me that if I was reimbursed that she would have to reimburse every parent every time their kids shoes get dirty or paint on their clothes. Sorry but dirty shoes and paint on clothes is expected from small children, I don't expect to pick up my child from school and have her personal belongings "BURNED". The director does not think this is a fire hazard! And she also told me they have 40 kids and can't watch all of them, probably because they're too busy watching and holding their own kids that go there . Stay away from this place!



It's funny how I wrote the very 1st honest review and you added 2 more on the same day, the 2nd one sounds just like the other so called good testimonials that are on your website but that's okay, everyone knows that businesses write their own good reviews. Okay, I see how you lie! You never told my husband what happened to the bag and did not voluntarily tell me, I had to ask you! The jacket was damaged because it was BURNED - which is in fact a fire hazard. If something is burning, that is a fire hazard. I never mentioned anything about the camp shirts so that is irrelevant. About the fridge being open, you told me someone stacked the lunch bags up and my daughter's bag happened to be the one directly under the light bulb and the kids were getting the play dough out of the fridge and that's what caused the bag to get burned by the light bulb and that you have 40 kids and you can't watch them all... If the kids are getting something out of the refrigerator, which they should not be, they should have been supervised and they were not and that is why the bag was burned. This school is not safe! The teachers spend more time holding their own kids while the other kids are being occupied by watching a movie. I wish there was a negative star rating....

My child has been at this daycare since she was 3 months old up until she was ready to go to Kindergarten. I never had to worry about her because I knew she was in the BEST of hands. Not only was she well taken care of but the teachers prepared her for Kindergarten in a way I couldn't imagine possible. She is now an honor student and has been for years. With the help of the Care For Me Staff and of course myself my child has values instilled in her for a lifetime.

C.A.R.E. For Me CLC is a state liscensed prek program and infant/toddler center that has been successfully serving children and families for many years. Many of our families have started with us when their children were infants and have grown with us through the years bringing younger siblings and referring nieces, nephews and children of friends. Our teachers are excellent and work extremely hard to return each and every child home safely to their parents each day. Unfortunately we do on occassion have to ask a parent to leave our center knowing that they may post a negative comment about us. However, we do what is in the best interest of our school and the families we serve. The parent who made the negative post below was terminated from our center. She did not leave voluntarily. However, I would like to take the time to address her comments and will start by saying our program is safe. We have NEVER had a fire or hazardous situation at our school. We have never been cited for any unsafe conditions. The child of this parent was returned home safely to her parents every day for 2 1/2 years. Yes her jacket was accidentally damaged 2 years ago by her former teacher and mom was reimbursed. Mom was not reimbursed for the camp tshirts that she purchased and was never able to wear although she asked to be and she was not reimbursed for her daughter's lunchbox. Yes her lunch bag did get a hole in it when it was placed directly under the refrigerator lightbulb. We have 17 parents that open and close the refrigerator each morning and it is quite possible that it was not closed completely, thus leaving the bulb on. This child's father was informed at the end of the day and her mother was informed by the Director the following morning. When we are in the classroom, our eyes are on our children and not the refrigerator which is how this incident happened. However, this parent chose to escalate the lunchbox issue in a way that resulted in her being asked to leave our program after 2 1/2 years. Working in the field of education can be very stressful on a teacher, but we do it because we love working with children and helping them become the best they can be. We often do it without a word of thanks from anyone. However, we always hear what is going wrong. I felt it necessary to take the time to defend our teachers who work so hard every day to provide a safe environment for our kids and also our center that has been serving the community of pennsauken for so many years and has a good reutation. We invite anyone who is interested to come and tour our school and speak firsthand with any existing parent for a more honest review.
