Overall

I read the reviews on this place so we knew they'd try to up-sell us, but we had no idea! My husband went in for a simple cleaning and walked out being told he needed $2,000+ worth of dental work (which our new dentist highly disagreed). He ended up walking out not even getting his teeth cleaned because they wouldn't do it unless he bought the other services. This place is NOT worth your money!!!!

Overall
Incompetent and malicious

I went to this location as it was recommended by my insurance and had several good reviews. I went there for a filing that had broken and I wanted replaced. She told me she will not do a filling but a crown, after I repeatedly asked for the filling!

She also decided that it was not the cracked filling that was causing me pain, but another cavity and she took care of that and two others that I had no idea I had. She stuck the needle in my jaw when she did the anesthetic, didn't do the right dose and had to do that again(!!!!) and I had pain in my right side for a week, that I attributed to the shots, but I was also very sensitive to temperature and sweet/sour. She called me and I told her what I feel and she said it must be the acrylic in the filling that was causing me pain(!!!)

I went in 3 weeks later, after constant and growing pain, to find out that my two teeth she "took care of" without me asking were decaying. She was on maternity leave and the replacement dentist told me that she had done nothing wrong, that is was basically my tooth's fault that she didn't do whatever she was supposed to, and that the office will take no responsibility for it!

Dentists do these things so the patient goes back for more work, but she crossed the line on this one, I reported her to the Board!

Bad Dentist

I went to this dental location because one of the cement connectors of my permanent retainer had come off. There are 5 connectors total that have been securly in place for 15 years. I made the appointment to have the retainer removed. After waiting 45 minutes after my appointment time, the dentist told me the best course of action was to replace the connector rather than removing it. I said ok. She put a huge glob of something on the connection which was more than 3 times as big as my other connectors. Withen 2 1/2 weeks, it came off. I went back in a week ago....this time she said she was putting cement on it, (must have been playdoh the last time). The cement came off yesterday, less than a week later. I went back in today for her to tell me she thought it was my teeth causing the problem, (remember, my other connectors which are still secure have been on my teeth 15 years). I said, ok why don't you take it off then, she said she wasn't comfortable doing that. My dentist I have been going to for 20 years took both my sister's permanent retainers off, and THAT is what I made the original appointment for, why didn't they tell me that then? So, they said they would refund the money for the connector, but it would take 6-8 weeks and that they wouldn't refund the $50.00 exam money...I would NOT go to this dentist, she is not good at what she does!
