I was nervous bringing my 9 year old with a broken growth plate to this practice because of the bad wait reviews, but being a new patient, filling out paperwork, getting casted, etc, it only took 45 minutes total. While I can't explain why the other reviewers had such long waits, I will say that 45 minutes total is way less than I expected.

Practice is definitely volume oriented. Arrived 15 minutes early for the Dr's first appt. of the day. There were 72 others in the waiting room.



After 45 min, I could fill out paperwork. After 100+ min, I was told that there are "just a couple of people left in front of you."



The desk said the practice is ALWAYS this way.



At 2.5 hours, when the Dr. appeared, he didn't bother with even a fake "sorry for the wait". I asked him how the practice works: a slim apology and an "I have no idea how it works". He reminded me that "I'm a Dr." It is clear to him that this is a fine reason. Left without diagnosis,had so little respect for the Dr. or the office to trust any results. FYI-They demand payment for visits upfront.



If you want to be seen first, an appt. is not the way to go. Walk-ins were seen quickly and rapidly. These must have been simpler cases as they went in, and returned back out very quickly. AVOID



Clearly there is a time management problem at this practice.

Negative 10!! This place is a joke! The staff are rude and useless, the office is disgustingly dirty and when I question the office manager she stayed the exam rooms are cleaned ONLY. 3 times a week! Ew gross can you say infection? Please don't waste your time nor money coming here.

My daughter broke her finger in October. They set us up with Dr. Katsigiorgis. We were there for over 2 hours for xrays and a cast. The cast cracked within the first 2 weeks, and when I tried to get an appointment to replace it, I was told that he is only in Patchogue, get this....Thursday mornings! Well, my husband and I both work, and my daughter is in 6th grade, which does not make this an ideal situation. I asked if she could just see another doctor in the practice, but was told that she is only allowed to see the doctor who did the initial visit. So I drove 25 minutes to Deer Park on Veterans day when my daughter and I both had off. The wait was not too bad, but he decided to remove the cast and put her in a boxers splint. This was not a good idea. She kept opening and clising the velcro, and adjusting it too tight, creating a bump on her wrist. My husband left work and took her out of school for a follow-up visit in Patchogue this morning. The doctor comes in at 9:30. Her appointment was 9:45, and my husband was there at 9:05 to make sure he got her in and out because she had a big unit exam in school at 10:30 and was hoping not to miss it. She had an x-ray at 9:25, and when I called at 10:55 to see how things went, my husband told me that they were still waiting to see the doctor! I called the office and was told that there were still 3 patients ahead of my daughter, and that they were very busy with people who came in with broken bones that needed to be cast. I told her that my daughter had a broken finger and cast as well, and that this was not an emergency room where you would expect a 3 hour wait for "emergencies". These were appointments that were set, and there is NO WAY they could have made so many appointments in the first 15 minutes that the doctor is even there! She was finally seen at 11:20, (for 5 minutes) and was told the splint could come off, but she needed to come back for physical therapy 3x/week. There is no way in hell I am EVER stepping foot in that office again!! It is unkept, and obviously the service is terrible too! If I could rate them in the negative, I would! I will set up physical therapy elswhere!
