Excellent resource for women. God has blessed this organization and they are so amazing, thank you for the help you give our mothers, daughters and sisters.

I was at the home three separate times and every time they took me in with NO MONEY AT ALL. I was a full blown heroin addict and they treated me so well, waited on my hand and foot while I was kicking dope - including cleaning up my crap and vomit with no complaints. People who say negative things about the home may say so because they couldn't stick it out so they had to blame someone or something else besides themselves, for leaving. They are not funded by the government, so they live wholly on donations and when they see that someone isn't really serious wanting to get clean they would prefer opening up a bed for someone else who really wants help. A dope fiend will use any excuse to leave a place so they can justify leaving and will start looking for anything 'wrong' the can find to use as their reason for leaving. Sure, no place is perfect and there it's always easy to find something wrong with any program. If someone is really willing to surrender, they will do whatever it takes to get clean, including giving up smoking cigarettes and obeying rules. EVERY rehab has rules - they may not all be the same but the rules are there for a reason. If you break them, it's your own fault for getting kicked out - not the program or it's staff. I think the WH home is one of the best programs I've ever been in (and I've been in at LEAST TEN). Five hundred dollars is a LOT less than the THOUSANDS most rehabs cost. Even though I didn't get clean at the WH home but at another program (there were no beds at the time) - I still recommend people to the home because I still think they're one of the best.
