        Founded in 1969, Camp Thurman is a nonresident, nonprofit Christian camp. It employs more than 90 counselors, over 80 assistant counselors and nearly 100 counselors-in-training. The organization is accredited by the Christian Camp Association and Christian Camp. Camp Thurman organizes a variety of activities that includes a low ropes challenge course, swimming, archery, shooting, group games, crafts, rope bridges, cable walking, pole crossing, scavenger hunts and wall climbing. The organization additionally features teambuilding adventure programs. The organization maintains a store that sells shirts and caps. It also publishes newsletters and organizes parties.         We've been A Camp Thurman fami...

        We've been A Camp Thurman family for more than 10 years. As each of our kids got old enough to attend they just couldn't wait 'till summer! The counselors and staff are the greatest, showing love for each camper, with energy and creativity. The kids never stop talking about the fun they have. Keep up the good work!
