They will tell you that they do not charge for the introductory meeting...WRONG. They spend the time giving you a sales pitch on how connected they are to judges and the like and then if you decide to engage them, they bill you for that sales pitch.



Had a juvenile case. They claimed that the optic of using the inferior public defender at the juvenile court (for 10% of the cost of these sharks) would be bad. BS, we checked that at the juvenile court and (a) the optics are meaningless, (b) the defenders at the juvenile court actually know the people and processes there since they deal with it day in and day out, unlike the Nolan Armstrong & Barton (NAB) people; (c) you'll get better legal help for 10% of the cost, run away from NAB.



Stacking: That is when the Partner, Jr. Partner and Paralegal discuss your case internally, billing you for the time for all three at once. Not familiar with this procedure...hire this firm and you'll get familiar with it.



If you enjoy paying too much, getting inferior representation and being nothing but a cow to be milked financially, then NAB is the firm for you.

I have maintained a business relationship with Nolan, Armstrong & Barton for well over a year now. As far as law offices and lawyers go, this group of attorneys is in a class of their own for sure. I went to Nolan, Armstrong and Barton because I had heard from a friend that they were worth going to. Naturally I was nervous, I mean, this is law for crying out loud! That stuff is complicated and how should I ever even quite feel like I understand what they're saying! I spoke to them and soon realised I was just being really silly. We spoke about my predicament. Anything I didn't feel like I understood they were happy to explain in “normal” terms. I had questions, oh SO many questions but they had the answers.



I had spoken to others despite my friend recommending these people. The thing was most of the others just sounded too static, not like real people. Real people are dynamic. So as you can see I opted for Nolan, Armstrong and Barton.



I have to say, I felt the whole process from start to finish was turned from what could have been a nightmare to something so much better. The people that work there didn't make anything more complicated than it needed to be, brilliant!



So like I said: brilliant!
