Dr. Judith B. Zacher, MD

This Dr. sd she gave free consultations. I booked a "free" consultation only to find out that she billed for $200.00 office visit.



I drove from Los Angeles to Palm Desert to have a consultation from this Dr. unfortunately the Dr. was running late and had to group my consultation along with my sisters. Wrong! strike one...



We were both inquiring about different procedures we would like to have and she took all of about 40 minutes to examine us both. She smelled of cigarette smoke and was extremely rude and gruff. I did not find her the least bit professional and was completely disgusted with my experience with Dr. Zacher



After I return home to LA - I received a bill for $200.00 for the "free" consultation. I called the office and informed them that the consultation was free and I should not have been charged. They put me on hold for a long time and came back to the phone and said that the Dr. felt she spent too much time on my consultation and was charging me for my visit. I did not agree to any surgery and was only inquiring on a specific procedure I wanted done. Why would I drive all the way from Los Angeles to Palm Desert when I have dozens of cosmetic surgeons in Beverly Hills???? And then pay for a "free" consultation?



The office refused to remove the charges, I wrote a letter, sent it certified and spoke with the office manager on several occasions. I think it was completely ridiculous, unprofessional and rude that this so-called Dr. would charge for a free consult. The answer I kept getting was that the procedure was considered "medical" and that the Dr. had spent too much time.... Aren't all cosmetic procedure considered medical? Completely ridiculous and now they sent this to collections and it's sitting on my flawless credit report ! I LOVE IT!



This was a complete waste of time.... I will not recommend Dr. Zacher to anyone. SHE IS A DISGUSTING. SMELLS OF SMOKE - HER OFFICE STAFF IS A JOKE. I CAN'T IMAGINE IF SHE DID SURGERY ON ANYONE AND THERE WAS A PROBLEM....
