If you are even contemplating using Josephs Catering, think twice! My husband and I used to be loyal customers. We hired Josephs to cater a wedding at our home for 75 people on 10/10/10. We gave them one months notice.



I have never seen such a disorganized staff. WE were supposed to have a food tasting on a Tuesday morning. They called us that day and reset it for Wednesday at 4. When we arrived, they forgot we were coming- and the food wasn't prepared. Then Melissa and the chef had a disagreement in front of us about who they were using to cater our affair. We were supposed to get prices from both of them. Even though I called several times a week and physically went into Josephs 4 times, I never received the promised e-mails, faxes or return phone calls. As a final resort, my husband and I both went in and talked to "Uncle Nick" 3 days before our wedding. He assured us that everything would turn out fine and called Melissa, the catering manager. Melissa agreed to meet us at our home the next day at 4 to go over everything. None of the food or amounts listed on the order sheet were correct and I was extremely nervous by this time. Melissa never called or showed up for the meeting. When my husband called to say that we were too uncomfortable to use them at this point, they simply said ;oh well" and hung up! I would never recommend them- or shop there again!

Great place for that special Italian treat. Great sale prices too!
