La Galleria Restaurant

I had my wedding here last April, the staff is very friendly, especially the bartenders. The food was delicious, and well presented. The place is absolutely beautiful inside. The only complaint is that the price is a bit high, but over all I'm 100% satisfied.

The atmosphere & surroundings are very pleasant, the service is efficient & friendly as the servers make every effort to fill your every need while making you feel at home. But most important, the food is great; many of the selections, if not homemade, seem to be. Everything from appetizers to desserts are wonderful, with selections that satisfy everyone.

There is no reason to leave without being fully satiated on all levels. We have attended weddings, memorial luncheons, and most recently, and happily so, an Easter banquet that was open to the public. Being disabled now, it is beyond me to host family holiday dinners from home ~ in the future, they'll be held at La Galleria .

There are only a few minor reasons for 4 stars:

1st. They're only open for large parties & holidays. We would love to eat banquet style more often ~ in addition to all holidays. it would be wonderful to be open on Sundays ~ for the new traditional Sunday family dinners.

2nd. There have been times the tables and banquet food line were positioned awkwardly. The food should be centrally located without dividing the room, yet not lining a far wall. I do like the idea of different food/beverage stations placed in various areas; it keeps the lines from backing up and not feeling like a cafeteria.

I also love a variety of tables: squares for 2 or 4, if big enough are fine, but I prefer round, from small for 4, medium for 6, to large for 8. Except for large families, I don't like a series of tables lined up into a line. Even then, they should not seat more than 12 at a table; if more, they should be set up into a double line or into a small to large U, N, T, dbl T, E shapes, or groups of round tables. Just a suggestion.
