St Andrew's Child Enrichment Center

In regards to the review written on 1/21/2015. St. Andrews is a facility that works with each individual family based on their needs. Every day we work to better the children emotionally, socially and academically. With over 120 children in our facility, we believe that it is important to keep each child safe. With this said, such behavior as hitting, spitting, kicking and biting other children is unacceptable. We strive to keep all children safe, and if these above said behaviors are a constant reoccurance, we have to take certain measures. If these things continue to occur each day, and multiple times a day, we contact parents to get them involved in the matter. If parents are uncooporative to helping the childs behavior, they are asked to leave the facility. Unfortunately this families ending with us at St. Andrews was not a positive situation, but looking out for the children and families is our number one goal. We encourage anyone who questions St. Andrews to come in, take a tour and make your own opinion of the center we are proud to work at

I have had experience with a few daycare centers and this one is by far the WORST. They have a nice facility and gym for the children but it’s all a facade. The staff is very unfriendly and rude. Most do not even like the children. My child has never had problems anywhere else and he was treated like dirt. They called him "bad" numerous times even to his face or to mine. Would yell at him and leave him in time out all day (I also spoke with an ex teacher in the baby room who said teachers would scream and infants for crying). They also sent my child home (2 years old) when he in any way will inconvenience them (and they still charge you...this also has happened to other families). When you go into to pick up your child they try to shame you and have said to numerous parents that we need parenting classes (this did not just happen to me). My child is not perfect but does act like a 2 year old. He needs to be taught not just screamed at. They do not know how to redirect children. Most of the “teachers” have no business taking care of children of any age but especially not toddlers. The teachers are very young. Never ever send your kids here all they want is your money and to try and control your family.
