Stolley's Hogg Alley

We took a group of 12 family and friends to Stolleys for a fish fry. I had been there before and was skeptical because we had such a large group, and I knew they had a small dining room. And this was Good Friday....a busy fish fry night in Wisconsin.

They did not dissapoint us the least. We did have to wait 30 minutes for enough people to finish so they could put enough tables together, but it was worth it. Our family is the type to share our meal with each other, so I got to taste the Perch, Walleye, Blue Gills, and a Italian Baked Cod. Each was cooked to perfection and all were of ample portion to satisfy even a hearty eater. The German potato salad was home made, the potato pancakes done perfect, and the fries crisp.

The staff were easy to work with and treated us professionaly, yet with that friendly feeling, that of an old good friend. When asked for anything...it was brought to the table with haste. Good drinks, great service, & wonderfull food. And with modest prices.

After dinner the owner even came out to ask how the meal and service was. We couldn't praise the place enough. I heard not one negative word from any of our party about their experience that evening.



Stolley's won me as a fan, and I'll be back many times.
