Inter-Ocean Tours has been taking divers around the world since 1974. Owner Marilyn Johnson Hearney founded Inter-Ocean as a follow-up travel experience for all her divers who had been diving on her boat charters to California's Channel Islands. Kyoko Takayama had been a dive store manager before she joined us. Kyoko and her husband Ben Odegard are both Instructors and had been traveling and diving worldwide 20+ years. Our staff of experienced divers will help you plan your next dive adventure to Caribbean,, Eastern Pacific Ocean, and Indian Ocean. Packages for single divers, families and groups of all sizes, for liveaboard boats, grand resorts and remote islands can be found to match your particular preferences. The Long Beach Scuba Show was well attended. Both Marilyn and Kyoko enjoyed seeing our fellow divers seasoned and new. The divers we get to chat with make our time in our booth fun. It was nice to be able to meet lots of divers, answer their questions and tell them about diving all the great dive destinations, world wide. Lots of resorts and boats also had booths at Scuba Show 2010 and are offering some great show specials. These show specials are usually the best prices we see each year. Packages are 20% to 50% off and some are even include 'second diver free'! Please check Inter-Ocean Tours' Specials page and the latest specials. It is important to note the "Book by dates" and contact us soon before the costs go up. When you look for a week package in Caribbean, Belize has not been the first destination we recommended. They do have great diving, but their resorts have been more expensive than those in Cozumel or Roatan. It has changed and they are on SALE this summer. With airfare around $600 even during the summer vacation, these Specials are very attractive. You can get a package less than $2000 per diver for 7 nights, all meals, airfare from SF, 3 dives a day ( or how about Openwater referral? ), airport transfer and taxes. So if you are thinking to go back to Cozumel or Roatan this summer, please let us plan your trip to Belize. You will not be disappointed. While in Belize you may want to enjoy their Mayan ruins or rainforest activities as add-on.
