This place is so bad, it shouldn't be allowed to operate. But, there is a way to get your loved one some decent care if your loved one is stuck there. I know of one CNA who is you provide plenty of money, she will provide your loved one with good quality care. If she does not get money, she will treat the resident with abuse. If you're interested her name is Lisa Gordon and she is a CNA on 1East. Otherwise, you can't get most of them to do the least little thing for you. And as for me, I didn't have money to pay Lisa so she hounded me the whole time I was on that unit.

My wife tried to write a review on yelp and was quickly censored. They have NO skilled staff and there medical equipment is right out of the stone ages. Her mother was transported to this dump on accident. If they had an Illinois tour of haunted hell holes this would be it. The staff was mean to my mother in law and she was treated cruelly here. They should e shut down as I do not know how hey pass inspection unless they pay off the health department.

I went here to see my sister and it was very dirty and very unprofessional. These people who worked there were mean to us and our family. I watched elderly people being treated really badly and it scared my children. The administrator was mean to me as well my family along with my sister. He said oh no you are german and you hate jews after I told him how we loved Kosher food after he told us he kept a Kosher home. I am not sure if this was some form of joke but it was not a laughing matter. This is a hate crime. My husband was horrified at the conditions and I felt like my sister was stuck on the show locked up abroad .The staff was nice when we first talked to them about her going here. The hatred that was shown to our family from the staff AFTER we signed the paperwork was incredible because we were white and were called devils. The only man who was nice was the african american man who went out of his way to try and help every time we went and was nice to my sister.The breathing Dr was also a nice compassionate man which is why I gave the two stars.I would not put anyone here because my sister was lucky to get out alive according to the attorney my husband and I hired.I would never put my mother here nor anyone else. It made me cry at the way my sister was tortured ,deprived water and abused. My children are in therapy now thanks to them witnessing the cruelty here. The administrator is a failure as an administrator as well as a failure as Jewish man for abusing my sister and the elderly.

I was amazed that this place even had a yelp until I stumbled across the link to it in this world wide forum about abuse of the elderly. My poor aunt suffered at the beginning of last year and I was so despondent by it as could have been avoided due to an oversight on the insurance company as she was transported here on accident . It was amazing how they could to get away with not providing clean sheets and leaving patients like my aunt unattended and laying in their own urine. Staff was very disrespectful and nasty to her as well as me. Thank God she got away from them.

Dirty place with a terrible staff. I would never out anyone here as they are very abusive with a poor history.
