I met Mr. Bohrer's paralegal while trying to self-represent myself in a custody case in the Daley Courthouse. I needed some help and asked her if she could show me how to look something up in the Court library. She was really sweet and spent time teaching me how to work through the digests and law books. A few weeks later, I saw her in the library again and asked her if I could meet the lawyer she worked for. If I thought I was lucky to have met her, it was nothing compared to how lucky I was to meet the man she works for. He was patient, kind, careful with my money, advised me on ways I could limit my arguments to what I really needed to fight for instead of letting my emotions get the best of me, and negotiated a great parenting agreement for me. Even better, you could see both my judge and my childrens' attorney really respected him. I know a class act when I find one, and Mr. Bohrer and his staff are all that and more.
