Oregon Coffee Roaster, Inc., (“OCR”), was established in September, 1985 as a specialty coffee roaster and tea distributor. Over the year years OCR has been adding services and products to give their customers an easy-ordering, one-stop environment with quality as the benchmark. Steve and Cindy are passionate about specialty coffees and one-on-one customer service. You can see this refreshing difference in your coffee cup. Steve and Mike artfully roast distinctive and exotic high-grown arabica coffees from around the world offering some as they are, “single-origin”, while custom blending and flavoring others to please any coffee connoisseur.Most coffee is cooked in a drum with heat applied to the outside. As the roast develops, it is up to the skill of the roastmaster to determine whether each roast has reached its peak of perfection. OCR has built its reputation for smooth, consistent coffee on the Sivetz Hot Air roasters. The hot-air roasting system was chosen for it’s clean, consistent roasts. The coffee beans actually float on a bed of hot air, providing even roasts and the distinctive flavors of each coffee fully developed for unmatched flavor and consistency. Only about 13% of coffee is roasted by the hot-air method. OCR fresh roasts specialty coffees each night during the week as needed. Orders are prepared the following morning and shipped to retail customers throughout the United States. This assures you the freshest coffee in your cup. Their employees are loyal and conscientious and follow strict guidelines in preparing each order. They all work together as a team to provide the best quality and service anywhere.
