My daughter has very thick biracial hair. Even the most talented of hair dressers have a hard time with it. We came in and had Kelsy cut off all of her hair to boy short, because my daughter wanted a new powerful look. My daughter looks nothing short of amazing, and feeling amazing, which was so so important this year because she is recovering from depression and a brain tumor. She's graduating in a couple of weeks, and she is totally rocking her new hair do under that cap and gown! I was so so scared she would not like her look, but Kelsy took her time, was very informative with what she was doing, and to let my daughter know what she was doing, and made her feel really comfortable, and that was so so important. She had wanted to chop all of her hair off for some time, and this was really impromptu for us, and Kelsy made the world of difference for her, and momma!

You have to check this place out! My friend, Lisa, told me to see Terri and she did an amazing job. I was greeted very well and treated even better. They offer free hand massages and mini facials. The excitement of the salon was probably the best. All the stylist got a long and it feels like family! Thanks again Terri for taking such great care of me. I really needed it!

This is by far THE WORST haircut I have ever received! Laken, a new "stylist" has made me look like Raggedy Ann! I asked her to 1. trim my ends, 2. keep my layers long, and 3. make any steps between layers invisible. First, she burned my face with the flat iron and didn't even bother apologizing. She pulled my hair with every cut and I could feel the hair damage as she wasn't in control of the scissors. At the end of the haircut, I had much shorter and very visible jagged layers. The left and right side of my hair were uneven. When I asked her to even/blend the front - she only made it worse!



The Blow Away Hair Salon website lists special prices for Laken - don't fall for this. I'm positive I could have had a better haircut from my 16-month-old nephew!



Keep AWAY from Laken - she has effectively ruined my birthday! She's an awful representative of Aveda and I am truly disappointed.

I've been going to Blown Away for several years. I am always treated like a queen. I get great haircuts and coloring plus other services plus the complementary facials, hand massages and makeup are wonderful! I love every hair stylist that I've had and I'll never go to another salon.

I was really hestiant about coming to the salon, I read the comments but all I have heard from friends is that its a great salon. So i gave it a shoot. I have never experienced anything like it. The front desk staff were great and very friendly. I got the look I wanted. The stylist was very professsional and knowledable. I have been looking for someone for a while and tried other salons. I just found my salon.

I have been going to Blown Away for a couple years. I absolutely love the place and the extras. I get a free mini- facial everytime. Love it.

Perfect Cut / Great Service

I go to Keeley and she does a wonderful job everytime! I have very baby-fine and dry hair and add to it my natural wave/curl/cowlick thing, and other hairdressers have had a hard time cutting it to my liking. Basically, I want thick, luxurios hair, but my genes will not allow it. But when I get a cut from Keeley, she has somehow transformed my hair into exactly what I want with only a cut and highlight! I attribute this to Keeley's skill instead of product use because my hair looks this good for the whole 8-10 weeks following.

Although the cut is beyond perfect, I gave only 4 stars because the highlights aren't perfect. It's really just around my roots, so no one but myself would ever notice, but it's still not 100%. The cut is my priority, so I'm more than willing to look over this.

I have been an 8-10 week customer since spring 2011 and I have no plans at all to change. Thank you Keeley!!!
