He completed a fellowship at Boston University Medical Center and served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School and Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged, also known as Hebrew SeniorLife. He is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and is member of the medical faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on several committees at St Mary including Pharmacy & Therapeutics and the Physician Information Technology Advisory Board. Dr. Sitapara also served on the PA Medical Society’s Task Force for Health Information Technology. Lisa is an experienced Certified Adult Medicine Nurse Practitioner, practicing adult primary care in the area since 2009. She’s a local girl originally from Levittown who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with her NP degree and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Since then, she possesses nearly a decade of experience delivering high quality primary care, performing physicals, wellness visits, and managing adult acute and chronic care conditions. Prior to working in primary care, she practiced at a plastic surgery office and is certified in wound care and has experience in weight loss medicine. As you know, experience is priceless and prior to being NP, she was practicing registered nurse for 23 years. She is by nature a caring, giving, intelligent, empathetic provider with always your best interests at heart. With her excellent clinical and communication skills, she will be uniting with Dr. Sitapara to deliver you the highest standard of medical care. I’ve had great feedback from patients who have seen her. Lisa handles the whole range of primary care problems is available to see same-day sick visits. She now lives locally in Newtown and enjoys kayaking, gardening, and home improvement with her neurotic spoiled cat (her words, not mine). She has a daughter living in China. Welcome Lisa Wescott.
