Orange Cab

Orange Cab is completely unreliable and the dispatchers are rude. Called the day before for a 4pm reservation for a ride to the airport. Driver arrived 45 minutes late - and then had to stop for gas! I called at 4:10 to see what was up and was told there was traffic and the driver would be another 15 - 20 minutes. When I said I would likely miss my flight the dispatcher said, "Hey, I can't control the traffic. You want the taxi or not?" I called again at 4:40 and was told the driver had then gone to the wrong address (apparently they don't update their GPS maps either). When I complained the dispatcher hung up on me. Tried calling other local taxis but one couldn't get there in time and the others phone just kept ringing off the hook. Learned from the driver that he hadn't even been dispatched until 4:05pm from a location that was 30 minutes away. I'll walk to the airport before I ever use this service again.

Took an orange cab to Newport. Driver was pleasant but charged us more than what was shown on her meter. Tried to get a cab back from Newport to Portsmouth and got a busy signal for 1.50 hours. They did not answer their phone (8:30 - 10:00 pm) Would never use them again

When visiting Newport we drove our Motor Home and stayed at a RV Park. While there we used Orange Cab for the 4 days we were there. The employee's were very nice and informative and they were always on time. Thank You since we were their for my granddaughters wedding at the Marriott it was important to count on a cab company who could provide such good service.
