burger joint, amazing location

great American burger joint, excellent shakes. hard to top the location at the end of Balboa Pier with fantastic ocean and sunset views. for gluten-free folks, Ruby's offers the option of substituting an Udi's bun on any of their burgers.

Managed by the Ruby Restaurant Group, Ruby's Diner is a chain of more than 40 family restaurants in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Texas, California, Washington and Nevada. The basic d cor of each restaurant features bright red vinyl booths with white Formica tables, soda fountains and colorful 1940s poster art. Ruby's Diner s menu includes a variety of breakfast favorites, salads, sandwiches, lunch and dinner specials, fountain treats and Lite Fries. It offers gift cards of various denominations and provides catering services for several occasions, such as anniversaries, birthdays and reunions. The restaurant chain offers a range of benefits to members of its Jitterbug Platinum Club that include discount on entr es and up to three other guests.
