Haren Monument Co

Morris Haren was a very reputable man, (my family dealt with him for many decades) but after becoming ill (and possibly passed) a couple years ago, his sister took over and ran the business into the ground so I read online and has been taken to court. Look up Patricia Booker's case against Christine Archer, (Sister of Morris) under "bamboozled." Sad, sad cases. BBB has now given Haren an "F" rating for her failure to respond to anyone, give them their monuments, or return the money. Morris was great, though.

I live in GA and I left a deposit for my mother's stone and I cannot seem to get in touch with them to find out what happened with my deposit..If you have any info you can share please do. THIS SITUATION IS SO DISTURBING TO ME.

I would like to dissuade any and everyone from taking advantage of this company's service. Last year I lost my father and requested this family business handle his monument. I was promised that the monument would be completed before the Spring of 2011, however, when I flew in from out of town, I was informed by the current owner that the father, and previous business owner had skipped town with the $1,000 I had put down as compensation for the services.



After getting over my fury for feeling bamboozled, I then elected to give the daughter (who is the current business owner) a second chance, as she begged me for the opportunity to rectify the matter. However, she promised that the monument would be ready in three weeks, but it has been more than six weeks that have gone past, and I have yet to even hear as much as a phone call from her explaining why it is that my father's monument is not completed and installed at the grave site.



This experience has prompted me to go to extended measures via the legal system to simply have a power-of-attorney so that one of my local friends can continue to pursue the matter, and it is a true nightmare. I have lost sleep, and feel very frustrated by the entire situation. I have not only put my trust in this company, but my hard earned money as well, and it is beyond heartbreaking to endure. As a result, I request that no one else patronize this company, as I am a living example of the kind of business they are committed to providing.
