Founded in 1946, the United Cerebral Palsy of New York City is a nonprofit agency that provides direct services, technology and advocacy to children and adults of all ages with cerebral palsy and related disabilities. It provides early intervention and preschool education, vocational and supported employment training, summer day camps, assistive technology resources, after school and weekend recreation programs, and health care, family support and evaluation services. The United Cerebral Palsy of New York City operates an early childhood development center, assisted living units, vocational workshop and medical care facility.
