Ginger House

Ordered beef/broccoli and friend ordered spicy beef szechuan w/vegetables and a couple of tsing-taos and guess what? Food and service were excellent; will come back again.

HORRIBLE FOOD and SERVICE!!!

I and my two other friends went to Ginger's today. It looks ok from outside and the city search has good rating about this place. When we went in, it looks ok inside restaurant except too much noisy.

1) But I got disappointed by the waitress who has a strong Chinese accent and she almost yelling at us when she took orders. She was not helpful for any suggestion, she say, everything is good!!

2) I ordered Spicy Basil chicken ($9.95) was horrible taste, my friend ordered a shredded pork w cayenne chili pepper was extremly salty, and my 3rd friend ordered a Prawn szechuan (12.50) was at least eatable.

3) I asked a cocktail menu, she gave me a food menu.

4) We asked a check, they put 18% tip on our receipts. We paid cash, a male waiter came and he counted our cash payment in our table in order to make sure he got 18% tip. They are very rude!!! No wonder they IMPOSED mandatory 18% tip in the receipt. (I think, Goverment should passed a law in order to prevent that any restaurant cannot put theirmandatory % of tip what they want to get from us. Tip is a tip. it should be paid by customer's decision rather than waiter or waitress's decision. )

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. GREASY MSG-LOADED FOOD. Ordered CRISPY fish and got SOGGY fish instead.



I ordered food here through Seamless Web (online food delivery system). The owner called me after I submitted the order to advised me to order directly from the restuarant going forward (i.e. bypass Seamless Web system). Very sketchy!! Seamless Web should take note of this. They got my order wrong and they acknowledged that they did make a mistake when I called. When I asked for a replacement, THEY HUNG UP ON ME! Is that how you treat a paying customer?? I can get Crate and Barrel to replace a $1000+ sofa with courtesy but Ginger's can't replace a botched-up $15.95 fish dish????



Anyone who gives this place a 5-star either has poor taste buds OR is a resturarant employee!
