Loved the food! I ordered the goulash & potato soup along with dessert & coffee and I loved it! The service was great but the hostess seemed a little irritated at the growing line at 1:30 pm on a Saturday. Get used to it hunny!

Provided by SuperpagesThe classier of the two cafes in the Neue Galerie, Sabarsky serves excellent German/Austrian food at 5th Avenue prices. The menu is not very extensive, but then thats very much in keeping the cafes Sabarsky is trying to emulate (though even with the Euro as high as it is, Sabarsy is more expensive).Curt service would be in keeping with the theme, but Sabarskys seems less that than careless, given the price-point.A wonderful place for dinner if youre looking for food around the Galerie or the Met and are up for spending $27 on goulash.
