The Association of the Bar of the City of New York is one of the oldest and largest bar associations in the world. It offers membership to individuals in the legal profession. The association offers a variety of facilities and services, including a fully stocked library, reading room, personal referral service, library usage cards, and informational meetings and conferences. It focuses on developing the science of jurisprudence, promoting reforms in the law, and facilitating and improving the administration of justice. The association also focuses on raising the standard of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession, and supporting and encouraging collegiality among the members. It provides various reports and publications for the members.
