General Info: Testing We offer Motor Vehicle testing at our office, in our cars, in New Canaan. The DMV comes to the driving school to administer the written, and road test for the driving test. This process can take anywhere from one to four hours. If you are successful, you have to go to the Norwalk DMV to receive your CT driver's license the following business day. These tests are held every two weeks on a scheduled basis and take place at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sign up is held at the driving school and should be done well in advance of any test as there are a limited number of openings for each test date.
