Complete Chimney Sweep & Restoration

They were supposed to come today, 4/25/16, at 11AM for a quote. Waited until 12PM, then called. The woman in the office, who gave me the time last week, said she had nothing scheduled. Last week, I had to explain the situation multiple times because she did not seem able to grasp it. She verified Jim had called to discuss prices. When Jim and I spoke, I said I still wanted an in-person estimate, because this is unique. Jim said he would tell the office. Today, no show/no call.

*EDIT* Ed called me on 4/26/16 about the mix-up & this review, & offered to come out today. I appreciate the call & then Jim & Ed coming out today, arriving only about an hour after Ed called me. They gave a written estimate & a $10 gc to Starbucks. The estimate seems fair for the work involved. Give them an A for effort to make things right. My afternoon today will be spent calling other companies to schedule additional estimates, so I am withholding making a decision for now.

Does not stand behind his work. Repaired the caps on my chimneys a few years ago and now there are always pieces on my lawn after every storm. I called and Tom promised many times to come out and fix the problem but has never shown up even with a set appointment! I guess it is time to file a complaint with the State and the BBB. I do not recommend this business

I guess I must have "Bait and Switch" written across my forehead. I had this company come out and a man by the name of Steve arrive at my house to clean the flue to the fireplace and oil burner and he gets here and he is not the guy who was supposed to come and who I talked with. He tells me yes it need to be cleaned soot and cobwebs and also spoke about the painted inside of chimney. He says they can repaint with a special fire resistant paint and they will research and get back to me on that. I then say I just want to confirm before you start cleaning that it is $169. as the owner "Tom" told me and they guy say no it is $169. per flue and then rambles about discounts and final comes up with $169. plus $129 for the I then say that is not what I was quoted when I spoke to Tom and he tells me that Tom has done this to him twice today with incorrect info. Told him I wanted to speak with Tom and he goes out to his car to get him on the phone and come back in and hands me the phone. The guy feigns no recollection of our conversation and says he never quoted me any prices speaks with so many people and "prices are not written in stone". Told him that I wasn't interested in his services or his tactics.

Bait and Switch. Now I will be looking for someone else and even it it costs me $300.00 I would rather pay it to someone else than this business ! BEWARE of this company and their business tactics. Shameful!

After one bad experience after the other....over the years, it was nice to have a company i could finally trust to come into my home and truly tell me what i needed and give me a fair price with out trying to take me to the cleaners.

I highly recommend this chimney sweep.They have been my choice for 3 years straight now and I would not think of calling anyone else.

complete chimney is very professional and does great work, takes time to assure customer satisfaction. i am very happy that i contacted complete chimney because not only was it cheap but it was done the way i wanted. complete chimney is willing to do what it takes to make the job complete the way it should be.
