On July 30, 2015 my wife and I were preparing to finish driving the last leg (360 miles) of our drive from Massachusetts to Florida when we experienced the car pulling to the right and a slight shaking. Fearful of a steering problem, we decided to attempt to get it diagnosed. I started with "googling" repair services in the area and up pops up Santee Lake Service with raving reviews. I got there at 8:00AM when they open and by 10:15AM we were on our way. The cost was $140+ for a new tire and the labor for the mechanic to test drive twice and also for sending a mechanic apprentice to go pick up a tire miles away.



Everyone at Santee was pleasant, professional, and very believable. They far exceeded my expectation.



All tires had lots of thread left; but the left front one had an internal band distortion and raised thread only in one area - very difficult to find.



Most repair shops would try to sell me a whole set of tires.

I was moving all my possessions and the family dog from Massachusetts to Florida when a wheel bearing on my truck failed unexpectedly. And, of course, on the Saturday before Labor Day... I happened to find this sweet little place (and lady running it) just before they opened for the day. They looked at my truck right away, and had it fixed and running within two hours! Completely impressed and totally satisfied!!! Give them your business, believe me they deserve it!
