General Info

I create mostly one of a kind items, though some may be similar, no two are exactly a like. I do all of my own dyeing by different techniques so any imperfections are just part of the dyeing process. I decorate each piece with either hand painting, silk screening or embroidery. A lot of my items are made from vintage or recycled fabrics. I use vintage linens, an old sweater or bedspread to create a one of a kind treasure. It’s fun to breathe new life into something that someone else might think has seen its day. I do use new fabrics as well, but one common thread in all of my things is they are all made here in Maine and need to be Bonafide, hence the name Bonafide Goods. Wondering about my logo? That was my dog Maude, when she was a pup. She was Bonafide. Good dog Maude.
