Lone Star Towing

READ THIS PLEASE!!! I'm writing this review not because I used their service but because one of their drivers purposely ran me off onto the shoulder of MoPac when I was merging from an on ramp! When I honked at the truck the driver shot me the bird. Nice, eh? My friend in the passenger seat took a photo of the truck so we could call to complain and when I got in touch with the owner, he claimed to have been behind me and that I was at fault. As I tried to refute this he shouted over my voice while dropping a few f-bombs and in a threatening tone told me if I had a problem with it I could come by his office and see him "face to face." This was when I realized that he was probably the one driving the truck.



I called back later to get this model citizen's name but he refused to give it to me. I asked him why he was being so defensive and his brilliant reply was," Why are YOU being so defensive?" (This was said in the manner of an ignorant hillbilly, I might add.) I had a friend call to get his name which she did so...the owner's name is JAMES KOKEL. He is a hateful man, not to mention a little scary, and judging by the many other horrific reviews of this company, he is also a rotten manager. Mr. Kokel, if your limited intellect enables you to read this, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

THIS TOWING COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. THEY HAD AN ACCIDENT WITH MY VEHICLE IN TOW AND THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE ME WITH INSURANCE INFORMATION SO THAT I CAN GET MY CAR REPAIRED. ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT I'VE BEEN VICTIMIZED AND HARRASSED BY THIS COMPANY. THE OWNER ACTUALLY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO TRY AND PAY ME OFF. HE ACTUALLY TRIED TO BUY MY VEHICLE FROM ME. IF THE ACCIDENT WAS NOT HIS FAULT, WHY WOULD HE FIRE THE DRIVER THAT RAN INTO CITY PROPERTY. LONGHORN TOWING REFUSED TO CALL THE POLICE TO FILE A REPORT ON SITE AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD REPORT THE INCIDENT FROM THEIR OFFICE. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A POLICE REPORT AND I SURELY DOUBT THAT I WILL. ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THIS COMPANY IS RAN BY CROOKS, SCAMMERS AND THIEVES.

These guys were great!! I have used many towing companies in the past that were just complete jerks. Longhorn towing figured out that good customer service leads to repeat customers. I have used them several times and would recommend you add them to your address book. Best tow I ever had. Very friendly!!
