I called this company (after reading its reviews online) to provide and install a large custom mirror in our recently remodeled bathroom. I dealt directly with Charles (the owner) and had a great experience. He provided excellent service and delivered a quality product at a price that was much less than quotes I received from larger glass companies in the area. I'd recommend Charles to anyone in the metro Detroit area looking for an honest and reliable glass professional. He exceeded my expectations and I know he will do the same for others.

I had a bird fly in my window and broke my window. so I called this company and Charles come out and did a great job. Tell you the truth, if i had to repair a window again, i will call him again

I have got to say this is one company I would recommend to everyone. I contacted and got quotes from (3) different company's I had seen in the Yellow-pages with the best overall reviews for a glass shower enclosure for our newly remodeled bathroom. Just thru my initial conversations with Charles (Owner) I could tell this company was going to treat this project as it was their own. Charles quoted my project and came in with the best competitive price, Once we agree to go with Affordable Glass, Charles gladly worked around my work schedule and came out to our house on a Tuesday night at 8pm and was there until 10pm measuring the shower opening to ensure a perfect fit. He also brought out large sample pieces of glass for us to choose from and of course we changed our minds once we saw the dark shower door glass, It matched perfectly with our bathroom. It cost us a little more but the final result is awesome! We did have a manufactoring error in the original glass door but no problem! Charles instantly offered up a new shower door and even put a rush on it so we had a brand new shower door less than a week after the installation. This company does actually treat your projct like it was their own and we couldn't be happier with our new bathroom and new glass shower enclosure. Thanks again Charles! I just read all the reviews and I wish I lived in this area just call Charles for the personla service he provides.

I contracted with this company to do a hard job of replacing 12" by 12" mirrors in my dining room and in my wet bar which included three sides and the ceiling. Charles, the owner quoted me $730 including all labor and products used to do the job. I accepted his offer and asked him to come out on a Saturday. He waited an 1 and a 1/2. I forgot his appointment so he went home. I called back an apologized and asked him if he could come out Sunday ---- I thought he would hang up on me. No he said he would be glad to come out. WHO IN THE WORLD does that? Charles was so kind to help me out of a jam. In addition, I don't think he realized how big a job he had on his hands. He started the job at 11: 00 A.M. and finished a bit after 12: 00 A.M Monday. That was 13 straight hours of nothing but tearing down my mirrors (over 250 mirror tiles) sanding each one so they would fit perfectly and time spent applying professional glue and tape to each tile. He never stopped for a break!! I said this isn't fair Charles. The amount we agreed to is not fair to you. HE REFUSED TO ACCEPT ANY ADDITIONAL MONEY!! Who does that? Charles is the most honest contractor I have ever dealt with and I am 67 years young. When he was finished, the mirrors were perfectly straight and clean. He cleaned up his work area better than I would have. I wish I could use him for every time I need to find an expert with the rest of my house repairs. I want to thank him for being him, a good hard working, generous, kind, pleasant, honest man that is proud to speak the truth. OH, and quite an expert with mirrors,

I am a General Contractor servicing Michigan and Ohio for over 40 years. When a bifold closet mirrored door section, at my home, was cracked and broken, Charles made a timely appearance and replaced the mirror on site. The removal of the old glass was difficult but Charles knew how to remove and replace it cleanly and professionally. His skill and patience exceeded that of the many subcontractors I have used on my jobs. Charles is the mirror professional you want to work with! This guy went above and beyond to complete my custom order in less than 48 hours after I gave him my measurements and dimensions. Not only did he cut every mirror to PERFECT size he also took it upon himself to drive out to the factory himself in order to meet my crucial deadline. Charles is absolutely amazing! He came to my home on Saturday morning (how many companies would accomodate that?) and removed a HUGE, HEAVY mirror and did it to perfection. I would recommend Charles as he is accomodating, good prices, available 7 days a week from 8am-8pm, and most importantly cares about his clients and loves what he does and takes pride in his work. He will also be installing mirrors on my cabinet doors! I will recommend him to everyone!

I don't want this review to sound like Charles just came down off the cross but when I called he answered the phone. When the appointment was made he came out as promised and on time. He once again did his own measurements and it was Charles himself who did the install. When you put this all together the end result was a perfect job from start to finish. Save yourself the hasle of dealing with those companies that promise you everything. Those companies will waste your time from the begining to the end and you will get a job that looks like you could have done it yourself.

This company is great! I called on a Sunday and spoke directly to the owner, Charles. He was out to my house within an hour (on a Sunday!) to repair my shower door. He is certainly a business owner who takes pride in providing great service with quality products. I will use Charles again for any glass need in the future. Very reasonable rates!

Working with Charles was easily the best experience of my entire bathroom remodel project. To begin, he actually answered the phone (a rare thing nowadays). He showed up within hours to measure for my mirror. More importantly, he had my mirror custom cut and ready to install the same day! Charles installed a perfect glass shower, two sided, for the best price. He was recommended by a coworker and I would recommend him. He was the only quote that included a door that could swing in and out. Top of the line work. The work and look of the shower is so much better than I could envision or find anywhere. After reading some of the reviews, I called Charles for a quote. He gave the best price and came out the same day to measure my broken window. I was prepared to wait a week for the window, but he called a couple a days later with the window ready. He did a quality job of installing and a good job of cleaning up. Now that I have a window with a ten year guaranty, I will probably replace some of my other window glass with broken seals. Charles provided an affordable option compared to replacing the entire window.

I called to order a glass table top on a Sunday morning. I wasn't sure they would be open on a Sunday. Not only were they open, but they delivered the table top the same day! The owner, Charles was very nice and did a great job! This is a small business worth doing business with!!!

After reading couple of reviews I decided to call Charles first. I needed a 36x60 tempered glass for my new dining set and I was really nervous about the measurement, how to pick up from the store and handle without breaking, how to install without leaving finger prints and on top of it I'm kind of person wants the stuff like now. Anyway I called up Charles and he gave me I bet the best price because I even didn't bother calling up those big guys and asking for a quote. He told me I work till 8pm yet even if it is 12am I will bring your glass and install. He even walked me over the process on the phone. He told me he would also bring those buttons which goes between the glass and the table. He didn't charge for anything besides he is the owner of the company so I even didn't give him tip ): He showed up personally for a very minor installation, carried this huge piece to my condo and cleaned up with a very nice window cleaner which I ended up ordering after seeing his demo on my mirror (: And this morning he called me up and told me he would be available to drop of the cleaner. If I hired a handy man to do this stuff I would pay more just for the work/effort he put in. It is a true value and he exceeded my expectations. Today hopefully he will have some magnets with him so I will keep it on my fridge for the future business and for my friends.
