Ocean Dunes Resort & Villas

We was in line for an hour and 15 minutes to check in. The line was out the door with only 2 people working at the desk. We get to the room and it was filthy. Gnats was flying around the kitchen and the towels and rags had an odor. I'm glad we bought our own towels. The beds felt like we was sleeping on top of springs. The worst nights sleep ever. The biggest complaint is the cleanliness. There was dust all over the vents. Hair was in the bathroom floor. We had to wear shoes the whole time because there was no way we was walking on that floor. We went and got cleaning supplies so we could feel comfortable staying in that room. They need to take those pictures off their website because it looks nothing like that. They also need to get people in there that are going to actually clean those room. So disappointing and we will never stay here again

This place needs a face lift, first room we checked in to was very dirty, they gave us another which was semi clean. The housekeeping staff does not clean with pride and never replenish all towels, one day they are out of wash clothes and the next hand towels. They continue to say they will bring some back later and never do. The television and coffee maker were broke and had to be exchanged out, no smoke detector in the room. The WiFi is dire need of repair the signal constantly goes out. The indoor pool in the main building had too much chemicals, your eyes would start burning after a few minutes of just being in the room. Everyday we went down to the lobby to go out there was a new person complaining about their stay. It would be much cheaper for this resort to invest $4000 per room and remodel them and fire the housekeeping staff. Refunds and bad reviews can get very expensive.
