Budget Inn of Myrtle Beach

The worst place I ever dealt with in my life! I called and made reservations and put down down a $100.00 dollar deposit to hold the room. I called them to let them know my family and I were 2 hrs away, in which the receptionist said "Ok, we will see you in a bit". An hour later we get a call from Budget Inn telling us that they gave away our room and that they had no more rooms available. I asked if I would be receiving my deposit back that was made to "hold the room" and she stated "Yes absolutely, to call in the morning." So my husband and I spent an hour looking for a hotel at the last minute. I called Budget Inn in the morning to confirm my deposit was refunded only to have the receptionist tell me.."Yes, about that, the day manager said that your deposit will not be refunded". I was livid! I thought the purpose of given a deposit was to hold your room...not at the Budget Inn!! Budget Inn lost my business and my back gave me back my money! That hotel is not recommended!
