For the past year, maybe longer our mail delivery has been very erratic. There is a different carrier everyday, one day last week, and then today- no mail delivery on our street. Hugely disappointed in the service. Maybe we should let ups and fedex take over.

I would like to express my appreciation for the exemplary work performed by the personnel in the Mt. Clemens office and the postal delivery staff. Upon returning from a month's vacation yesterday March 3rd our mail had been accumulated, packaged very neatly, and delivered as requested. Thank you so much for your care and professionalism. for the 4th time in a 3 week period , I have had wrong mail in my postal box. Three out of the 4 times my mail was put in someone elses box...important mail! I called to complain (this has been an ongoing problem for 8 years) and was left a message by our postal carrier that this happens when she is off for the day! This should be a seamless transition! Today, I received mail for my neighbor who has a similar FIRST name and it was important mail from the social security office for her taxes. I guess the Mt Clemens people put mail in boxes based on first names, NOT on addresses! Living in a condo with mostly seniors, I am lucky someone was kind enough to walk it to my house and put it in my front door. Now that we have ice and snow...well, I wont see my mail until spring. And the post office wonders why people do there business on line...we cant trust we will get important mail from them

Every time I have something to mail I go here they are always super friendly and helpful. Never and issues.

A change of address wae made at this post office, but they can not find a record of it being made on that date of October 26, 2007. This change of address wae made three days after a person passed away. The exact date was needed for the return of a security deposit from the apartment that she lived in. A change of address card is to be entered into the coputer at the post office, but no one seems to know where it went. Letters were sent to the Chicago Legal Department of the post office, still waiting for their reply.
