Southwood Apartments

The price to pay to live is affordable. There are no roaches or bug infestation. Maintenance staff is okay unless you put two or more request in at one time, expect something to not be done or fixed correctly. They are old & raggedy. I wish I could post a picture of the poor paint job, the nasty bottom portion of the refrigerator, the wall paint that they used on the stove that dissolved when the heat appeared. They also painted the cabinets & they are horrible because they didn't prime them first. The office staff is nice, but you can tell that they talk mess about you as soon as you leave. Brittany is the nicest, but is really dingey . I can't wait until my lease is up Feb.2016 and I'm out of here. They need to upgrade ... Pk Management has not done anything to these old apartments. They need to just tear them down & rebuild. It's sad how they have that ugly, trailer park carpet in the apartments.

The maintenance crew is under staffed, tha pool isnt operable, response time to tenants maintenance request are poor, management hasn't established a good rapport with tenants whatsoever. The section 8 dept. is a good price above everything though.
