Traveling through Colorado this summer we had the misfortune of breaking down in Monte Vista. We Googled a few auto repair business, made some calls. This shop seemed the most eager to help us out and provided us with two different towing service. After getting our vehicle to Automotive Experts, the owner was very thorough and explained to us the work that was need to get our car back on the road. He also gave us the option of a better part or a better price. Which we opted for a quality part. Unfortunately the part was not available until the next day. The owner was kind enough to give my family and I a ride to a nearby hotel. The next day our vehicle was ready as promised. Also his estimate was exactly as quoted, not a penny more! that's a first for us! Its a bummer when you have trouble on the road but Automotive Experts made us feel like we were a home town customer!

This business has the fortunate circumstance of operating in the valley. Competition is sparse, but the conscientious consumer knows to shop around. I have done business with this company a couple years ago to have my brakes replaced. The work was done correctly, I have no qualms in the competency of the techs, however the experience as a whole was deprived by the owners lack of professionalism and aura of integrity. Just recently, I was gathering quotes and figured to give this business a chance as I would rather have services done locally. The price quoted to me was rather high for what the job would necessitate, upon further research I found the quote to be about $500 dollars more than average, and $300 more than my second highest quote. I was still stuck with an estimate fee of $40, but is a little loss compared to the financial irresponsibility of giving this company my business. As with any purchase, shop around. I am sure that you will find something better than this company.

If you are thinking about getting work done on your vehicle--take it somewhere else. For work that was supposed to take 6 wks he took 7 mos and i still didn't have a running vehicle. He went back on the original agreement, left my windows down in inclement weather, lied about working on my car and told me he did work on my car that he won't put in writing. He is not a professional and doesn't keep his word.
