A1 Taxi Services

This is the shadiest taxi service I've ever used. He picked us up and I thought it was strange that he never set the meter. There was a woman in the car and a child asleep on the back seat that we didn't see until we were inside. The ride was 3 miles and he charged me $15! DO NOT USE!

I called and ask for a ride and was told they would arrive shortly. I then called the taxi service later and the phone was turned off. I had to call another taxu service. Very inconvenient when your business is about convenience...

The lady I initially talked to was very difficult to talk with and got my information confused. I called to confirm my cab 5 minutes after we agreed on and she recalled back my address completely incorrect. I gave her my address once again and the cabbie (young guy from North Carolina) called me to confirm and arrived 25 minutes later than previously agreed upon time. He arrived, we got in, and there would not have been a word spoken if not for the two of us in the back seat. Some people may appreciate the privacy and quiet but personality and attitude goes a long way for some of us. I gave 2 stars just for his driving. I don't know if he knew we were late or not but provided quick and safe delivery of customers and only ran one really late yellow with good lane changes. The Car was a newer model Corolla I think. Maybe Camry just poorly operated regardless of model. Got to the designation and paid the full toll regardless of the errors on their part. Told the driver to be at the same place to bring us home later that night and he agreed. Driver wasn't there. Called competitor cab service and received excellent service for less price and hassle. All around bad service.

Everyone talks about how good the service is but I was not able to get any at all.

I have used most taxi services in Monroe, La. A1 Taxi Services is the best, by far. Recently I called A1 to bring me from my place to the BMW dealership to pick up my car that had been serviced. Out of all the times I've used them, this was the only time that my cab was running late to pick me up. I had to be to the dealership there before they closed so that I could pick up my car. To ensure that this to happen, Omar, the owner of A1 Taxi took it upon himself to personally go to the dealership and inform them of the circumstances and clarify with them that I was on my way. The dealership manager, who was very nice and compliant stayed a few min extra and I was able to get my car. Thank you to Omar and to the driver who made above and beyond efforts to deliver wonderful service. Once again, the best taxi service in the Monroe area.

I was in Monroe I needed a cab back to Texas. Made the phone call, spoke to the wonderful dispatcher named Megan and in literally ONE AND A HALF MINUTES, Omar arrived ready to go. Very reasonable price for the distance! I am in the cab right now, having a conversation and enjoying the ride. CHOOSE ::A1 CAB:: if you're in Monroe and need a ride! Thank you A1!

In my opinion the only taxi service in monroe worth calling. They are clean and reliable. Also very friendly drivers.

Clean cabs, well taken care of cars, respectful service, low fares.... you can not beat it. This was the first cab I called after my move down here and I don't think I could trust anyone else. A1 Taxis didn't make there name... they earned it.

They understand you over the phone. Quick and dependable. They just need more business cards!

From the moment he answered the phone, the fella who ran the place (Omar) proved himself to be a gentleman. The service was courteous, prompt, reasonably priced, and reliable. His personal touch went way above the call of duty.



I phoned Monroe from Kuwait to arrange a taxi for a Taiwanese friend who was visiting the US for her first time, and had just arrived at the airport. He arrived at the airport in a timely fashion, and proceeded to assist my friend in locating suitable lodging nearby, all the while being friendly, helpful, and genuinely concerned for her well-being and comfort.



I am a seasoned traveller across the world, and this is the first review I have ever bothered to write on behalf of any business.



Hat's off to Omar and A-1!

This guy was great from the moment we called! He was on time and even put up with us taking our time to get in the cab. He took us through short cuts to save on the fare when he heard us discussing money. He told us he would take care of us and he definitely did! I won't be calling any other service the next time I need a cab!

these guy's were the best number one definitely there is no doubt in my mind that these guys were the best in the business if you call ask for omar or moe. these guys are number one they go above and beyond

A1 taxi was the best taxi experience I ever had. The driver was very nice and helped me out to the best of his abilities. He even cut off money from the taxi rate if I led him in the wrong direction when we were looking for my car.

They got to my house in minutes! They were very personable, and I loved the nice vehicle. They are not comparable to any other service! Absolute best!

A1A the driver was very prompt and curtious to me and my family were from Oklahoma and broke down and he beyond want any other company would of done for anyone. He even went as far as helping find a place to get my car repaired on hos time me and my family are very thankful for him. Iif there were more people like him this would be a great place to be

A1 taxi was by far the best experience my wife and I have had. He had all his credentials, and showed them to us before we ever left. The car was very new probably not even a year old. It had a great air conditioner and was very clean inside and out. Omar was the drivers name, he was very friendly, well dressed, and really worked with us on the price. Omar is an American citizen that spoke very good English and had a very good sense of direction for the area. The number one thing was the response time. I called him at about six fifty am and he was here within ten minutes, just as he said he would be. We had to be at our doctor by eight and we were there with time to spare. He did not speed, run any red lights, and just all around followed all traffic rules. He didn't have a single problem with any place we needed to stop. We were very pleased and will definitely use A1 Taxi as our cab company from now on. I would by far rate our experience as a five star buisness hands down.
