Overall

The atmosphere is very nice, however, very over priced. Portions from the appetizers to the main coarse are small also. There were 3 of us that had gone here, and one person had ordered the rib dinner which came out dry. They did take it off the check, but our tab was still over $130 and that is with a couple of cocktails. I would not recommend this restaurant.

A local favorite of mine

Mr Benny's has been a long time favorite family operated restaurant of mine. They make you feel at home every time you go there. They serve the best grade of steaks available cooked to perfection. My favorite is the bone in rib eye. The house wines are usually upgraded selections not readily found at other places.

Mr. Benny's Steak and Lobster House is a restaurant, serving steak and seafood for more than 30 years. Located in Mokena, Ill., the restaurant offers a variety of dishes, such as fried-lake perch, lemon shrimp, whole catfish, roasted-herb chicken and filet mignon.
