Colon Cancer
Colon Surgery – The da Vinci robotic system can also be used for colon surgery to treat a wide range of conditions, including colon cancer, rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and diverticulitis. The technique may be recommended for removing a portion of the colon or cancerous tissue, with smaller incisions and a shorter hospital stay.
Cancer Care

Ultrasound
Our Vein Center performs vein mapping studies of your legs to get a good picture of the vessels in your legs. This is necessary to identify the diseased veins and determine what ones need to be treated and in strategic locations. Chemotherapy
Mastectomy – A mastectomy is a surgical procedure to remove one or both breasts. It is usually recommended for patients with advance stages of breast cancer. There are many different techniques available for mastectomies, allowing us to customize our treatments to the specific needs of our patients. Mastectomies can often “cure” cancer and lower the risk for the cancer’s return. However, some patients will need additional treatment after a mastectomy, such as chemotherapy to ensure no stray cancer cells are left in the body.
Radiation Therapy
Lumpectomy – This procedure removes the cancerous tissue and some surrounding tissue from the breast, while leaving the breast intact. In some cases, lymph nodes may also be checked during a lumpectomy to ensure cancer cells have not spread there. Lumpectomies are typically restricted to patients with early stages of breast cancer. They are often accompanied by several weeks of radiation therapy.

Skin Cancer
Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer and fortunately, one of the less common. The cancer typically presents as a black or brown mark on the skin, but melanomas can also be tan, white or pink in color. Melanomas usually appear on areas of the skin that are subject to frequent sun exposure, such as the neck, face and legs. When melanomas are detected and treated early using surgical techniques, they usually have a good prognosis. However, this cancer can spread to other parts of the body if left unchecked, making it much more difficult to treat completely.

Our surgeons offer surgical treatment for sebaceous cysts right here in our office. We have two dedicated procedure rooms and highly trained staff to assist with treating this condition. Avoid a trip, and expense, of a hospital stay!
