General Info

Operational for more than 93 years, Camp Kawaga offers more than 100 recreational activities that promote sportsmanship and leadership skills. Its land sports activities include softball, basketball, football, tennis, soccer, volleyball courts, golf and lacrosse. The camp organizes various water activities, such as sailing, waterskiing, boating and canoeing. It also conducts a range of outdoor adventure activities, such as bicycling, boxing, fishing, archery, riflery, waterskiing, and track and field. Camp Kawaga organizes drama fitness journalism and music classes. It also hosts special events, such as casino nights, tournaments, campfire skits, talent shows and scavenger hunts. The camp conducts excursions to museums, zoos and other entertainment facilities. Camp Kawaga also organizes overnight wilderness trips and sports tournaments and competetions. The camp maintains a location in Minocqua, Wis.
